About the Solent

The Solent is a thriving area of economic activity with established business clusters in the maritime economy, the defence industry, scientific research and development and the medical sector, in addition to tech, agri-tech and creative clusters.

Work Life Balance

Set in close proximity to the coast and the New Forest with numerous market towns, villages, beaches, waterways and rural spots for leisure time, the Winchester - Southampton - Salisbury corridor allows for the mix of tranquillity and getting back to nature as well as a huge array of cultural venues, festivals, activities and opportunities.

The School’s Location

The Hiltingbury, Chandler’s Ford area, which is where the school is based is a conveniently placed leafy suburb of Eastleigh, which sits in between Winchester, Southampton and Salisbury.

Where Our Families Live

Our families are located in a variety of local areas from Hiltingbury, the wider Chandler’s Ford area, Southampton, Winchester and its surrounding villages, Romsey and its surrounding villages going as far out as West Wellow, and then down to the Meon Valley to Bishop’s Waltham.

Relocation Assistance

We regularly welcome new families to the area who have moved due to work commitments and new opportunities, also international relocations from USA, Scandinavia, India and Europe.

As a result of the pandemic, we have had a number of families relocating from London, who have moved in search of a more rural lifestyle to gain greater work life balance.

Virtual Tours and Admissions

If you would like to chat to the Head, experience the School, have a tour, chat to teachers, get a feeling for the school as a whole but aren’t in a geographical position to visit, we can arrange a virtual tour of the school and a chat via zoom with the Head Cordelia Cripps and any relevant teaching staff.
