Nursery Sibling Discount
Siblings in the nursery setting will receive a 5% discount.
This applies to any second or third child concurrently attending Sherborne House.
Universal Hours Entitlement
We will continue to accept the 570 hours per year stretched over the 51 weeks the nursery is in operation. This equates to 11.17 hours a week and will continue to be available for all eligible parents.
Sherborne House Nursery’s recommended provision model is that children attend two days a week minimum (4 sessions). This way, they get the most out of the learning and activities we offer, and we can be more flexible in planning the days attended to meet their needs.

Key Information
- Funded hours apply during the 5 hours of each afternoon session per day (1:00 pm – 6:00 pm) for eligible children, and only for the days a child attends.
- Billing will continue monthly via Parenta as we currently do.
- Our stretched funding hours change allows funding to be evenly distributed across the year, meaning families benefit from consistent access to funded hours during holiday periods, and smoother, more predictable monthly invoices.
- If your child, for any reason, misses a funded hours session, these hours cannot be reclaimed or carried forward for future use.
Childcare Vouchers
From the term following your child’s 3rd birthday, the Government provides 15 hours Free Childcare Entitlement for all 3 and 4 year olds for 38 weeks per year. Outside of those 38 weeks fees will be charged for all sessions at our current rates as above.
We accept tax-free childcare vouchers for payment of before and after school care, together with Pre-Reception fees and Reception fees for children still in receipt of Early Years funding.
Nursery Registration Fees
On registering your child, a payment of £150 is required.
£50 of this will be offset against administration expenses and is non-refundable, the remainder of £100 will be refunded once the last fee account is settled as laid down in the Sherborne House School Terms and Conditions.
Registration Fees must be paid when registering your child.
