We believe very strongly that all pupils need to feel secure and happy at school. They should know they will always be taken seriously, and listened to when things are troubling them. At Sherborne House, all pupils have a Form Tutor who is responsible for their pastoral care.

Our staff are always ready and willing to listen to children’s concerns. We also have an open-door policy for parents. So, if there are any problems at school or at home, we encourage you to speak to your child’s Form Tutor.

Personal, social and health education (PSHE) and citizenship - encompassing Fundamental British Values (FBVs) is an important part of the curriculum, and promotes the discussion of sensitive issues within a supportive and caring environment. The programme includes visits from outside agencies who approach age-appropriate issues in a sensitive and professional manner.
