Not a lot of people know this, but our Director of Performing Arts Mrs Lee is also the Chairman of the oldest competitive music and arts festival in the country.
The Southampton Festival of Music and Drama is currently in it’s 96th year.As a school we support the festival through choir and ensemble participation, but many of our children also enter individual competitive classes. The festival regularly receives over 1,000 entries with Hampshire wide schools, groups and adults and children entering in the huge array of competitive classes open for entry. The festival will be held this year on the weekend of 26th and 27th March.
Many of our children will be participating in the competitive competition individually at the end of March. Good luck!
