We were delighted to welcome parents and guests to view this year’s end of year Summer Art Exhibition held in the Cedar Hall over three days from Wednesday 6th to Friday 8th July, 2022.
The exhibition is held as a celebration of children's work from across the school in a variety of media, skills and techniques, featuring both 2D and 3D designs. The creative journey begins with Pre-reception, through to KS1 and then KS2. All pupils are encouraged to explore a wide range of media, alongside taught and demonstrated skills.
These showcase examples of modelling in clay, paper mache and paper and card. Colourful fabric designs formed from impressions of the work by Romero Britto, mixed media collage, acrylic designs and concept architectural drawing. In addition the exhibition also featured work in both oil and chalk pastel, computer and digital art using 'paint' programs and printing.
