This month we said goodbye to Mr Roache.
Nigel had been at the school for 9 years as Business Manager. He took an active role in school life by participating in residentials, away days and trips, as well as being on hand as part of the permanent admin team based in the School Office, always on hand to help or find a sick bowl.
Mr Roache leveraged his passion, technical work in theatres to bring technical equipment into school to enhance learning and provide additional opportunities for the children.
On a day to day basis he was responsible for finance, site management and to work as part of a close knit team.
Nigel took the decision to leave us so that he had a more flexible work life balance and pursue his love of the outdoors and work in theatre and entertainment environments – we wish him the best of luck with his new endeavours – and it won’t be long before we see him again, as he will be helping out with some school trips coming up!
