At Sherborne House we recognise the importance of children having a real purpose to their learning and a real audience for their writing. We believe that a great way to inspire their children is to enable them to interact with real successful authors. Earlier this school year, the children received a Christmas card from Tom Fletcher, a postcard from AF Harrold and a Skype call from author of the Mr Gum series, Andy Stanton! And lockdown hasn't stopped them rubbing shoulders with some of the best children's authors. Andy Stanton dropped them a video message to see how they were getting on while learning away from school and more recently, they received an email from Katherine Rundell.
