Year 3 participate in a scavenger hunt

In Year 3 this week, the children have been working outside having lots of fun. Some of the activities have included sharing stories with Year 5, writing quizzes in the bell tent and completing a scavenger hunt around the grounds. While reading with Year 5, the children had the opportunity to read some of their own stories to the older children and listen to the amazing writing from the Year 5 classes. The children loved writing their own quizzes and even stumped the teachers with their tricky questions! Even though the weather was wet, Year 3 still managed to complete their scavenger hunt; they searched the grounds for something wet, shiny, noisy and many other things. It has been lovely to see so many of the children enjoying themselves for their final week before the summer holidays!
