Year 2 Show Confidence and Deliver an Informative Assembly

This week, the children in Year 2 embraced the challenge of delivering an assembly to the whole school in order to celebrate Chinese New Year. The children used their assembly to share fun facts and new knowledge to tell the story behind the Chinese zodiac with their friends, parents and other family members.

The children did a fantastic job of researching new information about the Chinese zodiac story and learning different ways to showcase this knowledge to the other pupils. Throughout the rehearsals, the children worked extremely well together to ensure their performance was entertaining but also communicated clearly to their audience.

Each pupil performed with confidence on the day and their teachers were extremely proud of how well the children delivered their lines and engaged with their audience.
