Year 6 began the term with a mystery to solve - what was the link for their new topic?
The children were invited to choose a hidden image from a box and make links between them to identify what they thought linked all of the pictures.
Of course, there were a few red herrings involved which generated some interesting discussions. After much discussion, each of the three classes believed the link to be different things and there were several discussion points and changing of minds throughout the task.
Through much deliberation, the children eventually eliminated the red herrings before narrowing down their links, realising it was the influence the Ancient Greeks had on our modern day world.
