On Wednesday we celebrated World Maths Day.
Preparations for the day began last week with the children being set a ‘creative number’ challenge.
Each child in the school was given a random number from 1-120 and was asked to present or make their number in an interesting way.
Well done to everyone who entered!
On World Maths Day the children had investigative maths lessons, specialist lessons themed around maths, maths scavenger hunts and problem solving activities to complete.
The children had a wonderful day and had lots of fun exploring the creative and fun side of maths.
