Year 6 have been modelling different types and shapes of bird beaks using a range of different implements to mimic the Galapagos Finches, who have evolved the shapes of their beaks to suit the different food types available on different the islands as part of their investigation of adaptation and evolution in science related to the studies of Darwin.
