Report: The boys put in a good passing performance and utilised the full space on the pitch, going wide where necessary and creating opportunities from positions we don’t often find ourselves in. The year 5 defenders played particularly well and kept Dunhurst chances to a minimum. Joe was fouled and Alfie stepped up to put the free kick into the back of the net. A Dunhurst player handled the ball in the area and Joe coolly slotted the penalty into the bottom corner for a 2-0 lead. Dunhurst pulled a goal back, but Blake restored the 2 goal advantage and SHS were able to see out the rest of the game. A good performance and a well-deserved win. | ||||

Report: Some excellent football was played by this Sherborne team, who dominated the play from the start. After a few wayward shots, we finally took the lead in the first 4 minutes of the game thanks to an own goal from a corner. Almost instantly we scored a second, Alex dribbled past a defender before slotting the ball into the back of the net. George nearly scored but the referee decided that the ball did not cross the line after hitting the inside of the post. Dunhurst thought they had cleared another attack, but the ball fell kindly to Edward who found the top corner from some distance! Oscar scored a penalty late in the half and added another goal to his tally soon after. The match stopped at half time so the teams could be mixed - a great team effort boys, well done! | ||||

Report: This game turned into more of a training game due to the mismatch in teams. Sherborne played well and dominated however the boys were wasteful with their chances. A solid performance overall from the boys. | ||||

Report: Another closely fought game today, against strong opposition. The boys played well and stuck to their game well. Strong tackling showed throughout the game, from both sides. With an early goal from Prebendal, we were were chasing the game from the off. Fearsome shots on goal, ended with Henry having to take a break from goalkeeping duties, but returning to the field of play shortly after to make an appearance out field. A last minutes goal, sealed the draw. A well fought battle, ending in a fair result for all. Well played boys. | ||||

Report: The boys came up against a strong Prebendal team. The boys went 4-0 down in the first half. However, the boys worked extremely hard to draw the second half 1-1. SHS boys never gave up and worked extremely hard with a positive attitude throughout. | ||||
