On Friday 8 May, we remembered VE Day on the 75th anniversary of the end of World War 2. It was not the day that was expected, with street parties and country-wide commemorations put on hold while we continue to learn to adapt to what has become a new way of life for all of us. Despite this, we are very proud to say that Sherborne House School marked the event together as a school community.

Teachers from across the school have been astounded by the fantastic project work that has continued to flood in, showing the children's tributes to such an important anniversary. We have loved watching the children dance to 1940s music, listening to their speeches in role as Churchill, reading poetry and seeing the wonderful research and posters that the children have created. We are also, admittedly, a little jealous of the lovely cakes made especially for your own - at home- commemorations. Well done everyone - we are proud of you all.
