| Year 1
Year 1 gave a super swashbuckling performance during their year group assembly.
On Thursday, Year 1 showcased work from what they have been learning in Science, PSHE, History, Music and English lessons so far this term. They also included a performance of their Talk4Writing text, Poor Pirate Pete.
Prior to their performance, the Year 1 children have been working very hard to create the content for the assembly as well as practising and memorising all their lines. All the children delivered a confident performance to a room full of their parents showcasing their ability in public speaking.
It was incredible to see the children's confidence grow prior to the performance and deliver such a self-assured assembly to their parents. The jam-packed assembly, full of varied content was a testament to how hard the children have worked this term and a great insight for all the parents of what they have been learning.
A huge well done to all the children and thank you to the teachers and parents for all their support.
