| Year 6

2 8

The children in Year 6 have had a busy few weeks. In art we have been looking at colour blending and how to form skin tone colours. They have then challenged themselves to blend appropriate colours and match them to their chosen facial pictures.

In science we have been looking at adaptations animals make to their environments. They have been learning about how the harsh environments in which they live can cause them to develop evolutionary features to aid their survival. The children have then been inventing their own plants and animals, with special adaptations, to suite their particular habitat.

There is a great air of excitement about the upcoming residential to Little Canada. Lets hope we get some of the lovely weather we have experienced recently. Remember to pack the for all eventualities everyone, just in case.
