| Year 3

In Computing, the children in Year 3 are learning about ‘Digital Imagery’. To begin with, the children looked at a selection of pictures which had be previously taken by Miss Currey and Miss Parkinson. They discussed what was good about the picture and what could be improved. The children decided that it was important for the picture to be clear, not blurry, have everything that you need in the picture without parts being cut off and be focused on something in particular. The children generated their own success criteria in pairs for what they wanted to photograph when going outside. Some children were able to edit their pictures by changing their size, zooming in and out and the colour. They were all very excited to get out onto the school playground and take photographs of the scenery, objects and other children!
