| Year 6
Year 6 held a coffee morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support which provides nurses to care for people all through their cancer treatment and support for their family and friends. The children were very excited in preparing for the morning with the making of invitations and posters for display. They had also learnt about the charity in their PSHE and C lessons, appreciating the work that MacMillan does supporting those affected by cancer. Some fantastic and varied cakes were delivered by parents and children and arranged on the tables ready for the coffee morning to begin. Year 6 served coffee and cake to their parents and also ran a competition to guess the height of a cake. (This was won by Freya in 6M.) Mrs Domone and Mr Mathias wish to thank all the parents for supporting this worthy cause with a grand total of £226 raised for the charity.
