| Pre-Reception
This week, Pre-Reception had a special visitor arrive... It was Tinsel the Elf! She arrived in her special aeroplane sent from the North Pole, from Father Christmas. On Tuesday, Tinsel hid some Christmas items in Pre-Reception’s garden for the children to find. The children were given a checklist and had to search around the garden and look for the hidden objects.
Not only did the Christmas hunt get the children in a festive mood, it also helped them to develop their personal, social and emotional skills. This was done by, encouraging the children to work as a team and demonstrate friendly behaviour by helping each other find the hidden objects.
