| Year 6

In the last couple of days of lockdown learning, the children in Y6 worked together in school, via Meet break out rooms or independently to create their own maths board games in a variety of formats.

Each basing their game idea around a series of maths questions on a chosen theme, they developed playing boards, counters and questions and tested their games out before writing instructions for others to follow.

On the day that everyone returned to school, the children brought in their games and enjoyed sharing them across the year group. It was great to see so much activity maths going on, in such a social way, and the children really appreciated the chance to rekindle friendships as they played.
