It is a busy time of year for the Music department with festive performances taking place across all year groups. Our Christmas celebrations began on Monday with our Year 5 and Year 6 Carol Service at St Boniface Church.
Parents were treated to 9 lessons and carols with performances from the whole school, both year groups, the Chamber and the Rock Choir. Our congregational carols were accompanied on the organ by Mr Wallis. This was a brilliant way to start the final week of term; everyone left the church feeling rather festive and it was brilliant to see all our Year 5 and 6 children perform with such confidence. See some of the children's performances here.
On Wednesday afternoon, Year 3 and Year 4 parents were treated to a concert featuring all the animals at the nativity. On Thursday, pupils in Year 1 and Year 2 led the whole school in our Christingle celebrations. Both of these performances were so special and we are very proud of all the children for their performances.
Our Michaelmas term finished on Friday with Carols around the tree to send the children off on their Christmas holidays. What a great way to finish a brilliant term!
