We use Coram Life Education’s ‘SCARF’ scheme in the teaching of our PSHE (Personal, Socal, Health and Economic Education) and Relationships Education.
There are now Scarf at Home resources which provide optional safe activities parents can complete with your child at home. They are to provide further opportunities to think and reflect during these difficult times. The level of parental involvement varies according to the age of the children. These complement the half-termly PSHE & Relationship units completed at school i.e this half-term focus is ‘Keeping Myself Safe’.
The resources can be found on this link:
You will be taken to a quick overview page. There are no sign-ins or passwords required. On the parent page you will see four separate links which will direct you to age-appropriate activities with suggestions on what you can talk about together and activities you can do together.
Please note that these will not replace our normal timetabled PSHE & Relationship lessons but are optional resources for parents to use at home, to help during this difficult time, should you choose to do so.
