| Year 1
In Science, the Year 1 children have been learning about plants and growth. A sunflower seed was planted for each child and we have been watching them grow. We have also undertaken an experiment to see what conditions plants need in order to thrive. Mrs Mathema put one pot in her cupboard and will give it no water, one pot in a cupboard with water and 2 pots in a sunny place. One will be given water and one not.
We have also been learning about plant lifecycles and the children produced some eye catching posters.
