Just before the country went into lockdown, PSHE Leader, Mrs Holmes, had arranged for representatives from the NSPCC to visit our school and deliver their ‘Speak Out. Stay Safe’ programme. In support of the vital work the NSPCC does, in particular ChildLine, we helped this charity by raising funds. This took the form of ‘Buddy’s Big Workout’ where the whole-school took turns to participate in a fun obstacle course. We are delighted to announce that as a school we raised the impressive sum of £836.50 which we have now sent to them. When the NSPCC Schools Service is back to work we are sure that they will extend a huge thank you to all of you who took part and raised this valuable sponsorship money.
