We were treated to a workshop from Integr8 dance company on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. All the children in the school participated, learning street new dance moves. The lower school learnt a sequence of movements to music and then they showed their own freestyle dance moves and poses. The upper school were taught a 'poppin and lockin' style, with moves such as a muscle man, scootbot, scooby doo, A town stomp, reebok and groove. They were taught a more advanced dance and then they worked well in small groups to create their own dances. It was evident from the photos and videos how much the children enjoyed the workshops. Thanks to FOSH for providing the workshops for everyone to enjoy.
