Pupils working hard to improve their fitness levels Health Related Fitness in P.E. lessons.


During the first half of the term Year 4 have been responsible for their own cardio and stretching warm up working cooperatively with a partner. Then they have worked on improving different aspects of fitness, to include developing their speed, stamina and strength. With their partner they have devised an individual fitness plan. Over the weeks we have been focussed on trying to improve their scores in these timed activities.

In the photographs you can see their warm up the different strengthening exercises that 4HS chose to do. You can see 4C making up their own sprint shuttles.

We have been particularly impressed with the way both classes have worked in their pairs or small groups to encourage and support each other to achieve the best that they physically can.
