Mental Health Awareness Week is this week commencing 9th May and the theme this year is 'loneliness'. This follows on from other special days/weeks we have marked and completed lots of PSHE lessons around developing positive mental health i.e.World Mental Health day in October and Children's Mental Health Week in February.

We will be discussing with the children what loneliness is during my PSHE and Relationship lessons this week and strategies to help if they or someone else is feeling lonely.

Please find here a handy loneliness guide for parents and caregivers created by the Mental Health Foundation which contains some top tips to combat loneliness.
