Healthy Eating Week in Pre-Reception

This week has been healthy eating week in Pre-Reception. The children have been doing a variety of activities such as fruit and vegetable printing, healthy and un-healthy food sorting and they even made some healthy snacks! We have also been discussing why it is important to eat a range of food and why is it especially important to eat lots of fruit and vegetables. When making our healthy pizzas, the children shared with each other what vegetables they liked and did not like, this was a really good way for the children to express their preferences in food and discover what makes them unique.
