On Wednesday 18 March, the UK Government announced the closure of all schools due to the coronavirus pandemic. The staff at Sherborne House have been working closely with our colleagues across the Bellevue Group of schools to proactively ensure all the virtual learning tools are in place to allow continuity of education for our pupils and all pupils across the group. The first day of virtual learning started on Monday 23 March, and will be in place until further notice and advice from the UK Government.
We will ensure to update our school community regularly on this.
On Monday 1 June, we will be welcoming back pupils in our Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and 6 classes. This is as per the Government announcement and advice set out on 10 May 2020.
While Sherborne House is closed due to Government advice, unfortunately it will not be possible to visit us in person. However, admissions is still open, and we are encouraging families who are interested in joining the school or nursery to get in touch with our Registrar on 023 8025 2440 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Our Registrar will follow up to provide you with all the information you need and to schedule a virtual meeting with our Head.

This Summer, we have set our pupils an 'Extreme Reading Challenge' to keep their love of reading going but also to see their interests and talents outside of school. Here are a few photographs of pupils reading in unusual places!
Rehearsals are under way for our socially distanced Year 6 Leavers’ and Prize Giving Ceremony. Good luck to our Year 6 pupils as they leave us today!
