Thank you for your interest in Sherborne House School. Whilst the world may have temporarily stopped, planning for your child's education and development should not, and we are delighted to welcome you virtually to our school.
Following the UK Government announcement to close schools on 23 March, we are unfortunately not able to welcome prospective families to the school. However, during the school closure period, we have ensured a virtual admissions process is in place to provide families who are considering Sherborne House with the information they need.
We hope that our website, videos, photos and prospectus give you a flavour of what Sherborne House has to offer, and we will be delighted to welcome you to the school as soon as we possibly can.
Our virtual admissions process is outlined below. In the first instance, we would invite you to get in touch with our Admissions Registrar, Mrs Szasz, on email@example.com or via our enquiry form.
We look forward to meeting you and learning more about your child, albeit virtually for the time being.
Make an Enquiry
We invite you to contact our Admissions Registrar on firstname.lastname@example.org or complete our enquiry form. Our Admissions Registrar, Mrs Szasz, will send you our online prospectus and discuss the next steps in our admissions process. She will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have at this stage.
Virtual Meeting with the Head
We invite you to meet with the Head, Mr Beach, virtually via Zoom video calls. In the meeting, you will be able to discuss the needs of your child and ask questions about how Sherborne House can help nurture and develop your child's talents and abilities. Depending on which year group your child would be joining, we will also ensure you meet relevant members of our team virtually.
Registration and Assessment
Following a meeting with the Head, we will invite you to register for a place at Sherborne House. We will discuss how your child will be assessed depending on the year group they would be joining. For children who are joining Pre-Prep, we would ask for a contact at your child's current school or nursery, whilst for pupils who are joining the Prep School, we will ask for a recent school report and a reference from your child's current school.
Offer and Acceptance
Once we have reviewed the information provided, we will be able to confirm whether we are able to offer a place for your child. We will then send a formal offer letter together with our Terms and Conditions, which you will need to sign and agree to in order to accept a place.
