Profession: Physiotherapist Specialist

What have you done since leaving school and what achievements are you most proud of?

I completed my BSc Hons Physiotherapy from King’s College London and I am not married with two children.

What are you doing now and what do you enjoy most about it?

I am a Physiotherapist Specialist working for the Ministry of Defence. It’s a wonderfully varied job role treating patients based on land and at sea, elite athletes and some battle-related injuries. I have the privilege of working with people whose main focus is a return to duty and I am fortunate to be a part of an ever-evolving and innovative rehabilitation system.

In what ways did Sherborne House prepare you for life?

It taught me the importance of respect for others and prepared me well for the move to senior school education.

What is your fondest memory of your time at Sherborne House?

Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the school - I believe there was a song written for the occasion. There are many others!

Is there anything else that you would like to share with us?

Mrs Hopson-Hill was my form IV teacher when I first joined the school - now she is Headteacher!
