Overall Summary

Sherborne House is a growing, lively school with many areas of strength.  Good leadership and management, supported strongly by the Global Education Management Systems (GEMS) organisation, have established a clear vision for the school that is reflected in a smooth-running and well-ordered environment.  Good teaching, together with effective pastoral care and personal development of pupils, has a significant impact upon the standards they achieve, their good attitudes to learning and very good behaviour.  The contributions of parents, who are strongly supportive of the school, enrich pupils’ work and experiences.  Some aspects of management requiring development include the implementation of the new school plan and the monitoring roles of subject coordinators.
