Other Curriculum Subjects
A full range of additional subjects is taught throughout the Prep School so that each child receives an extremely broad and balanced education. These subjects include: History, Geography, French, Reasoning, Study Skills and Personal & Social Education.
- French is taught by a specialist native speaker who is a qualified teacher. The emphasis is on making the language accessible and enjoyable. Children often find that they are well ahead in this subject when they move on to their senior schools.
- Spanish is class taught in year 6 as well as being available as an extra-curricular activity.
- The History department organises a number of outings including highly successful residential trips in Years 5 and 4.
