Music, Art and Drama play a prominent part in the life of the school and we have had many successes in external competitions and examinations in these fields, including the awarding of scholarships to senior independent schools and membership of the National Children's Orchestra and the National Children's Choir.

  • Timetabled Music, Art and Drama Lessons every week from subject specialists.
Over 80% of children learn a musical instrument, with tuition available for more than 15 different instruments.
  • Excellent results in Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and Trinity Guildhall music examinations.
  • Excellent results in LAMDA drama and musical theatre examinations.
  • Four different choirs perform regularly at local and national events. There is also a Youth group  for leavers and an Adult Choir for parents.
  • Purpose-built Art studio in which children learn painting, collage, print making, textiles, drawing and modelling.
  • Art work regularly submitted for local and national competitions.
  • Major drama and music production presented to parents every year. Recent presentations have included 'The Wooden Horse', 'Greasy', 'Hamlet', 'The Murder Mystery', the spoof 'Blunderball', 'Robin Hood', 'The Tempest', 'Fairy Tale Stew' and 'Dalek Express'.
  • Regular outings to local and national theatre productions, as well as visits to school from touring companies.

Don't miss this year's production.
