The school has a modern, purpose-built computer suite with 23 networked computers. In addition each classroom has computers with relevant software. There are Interactive whiteboards distributed through the school.
Special features of our ICT programme include:
- Computing skills taught by specialist teachers as part of a dedicated, timetabled weekly session.
- 'Ranger' facility means that the teacher can control and view all computers from one central machine.
- A graduated scheme of work focuses on the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint, and on specialist subject software.
Design Technology is an important part of the timetable with most lessons taught in our purpose-built art studio and workshop. The children have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects using a range of tools and materials.
