The Pre-Prep department is for children aged between 5
and 7 years old. It offers a broad, structured curriculum, which aims to develop each child's potential emotionally, physically and academically.
The children are taught in bright, modern classrooms. The experienced staff are mindful of new ideas, whilst emphasising the acquisition of sound Mathematical and Literacy skills in preparation for the next stage of their education. We aim to promote a child's self confidence and enthusiasm for learning and develop an awareness of the needs of others.
The curriculum includes Mathematics, English Language and Literature, Science, Topic Work (History and Geography), Art and Craft, Information Technology, French, Design Technology, Physical Education, Movement and Dance, Games, Religious Education and Music.
The children are class taught except for Music, PE and French when specialist teachers are used.
