Report: A game of commitment and development. These boys were working so hard today, it would have been a crime for them no to win. I think it’s safe to say each and every one of them progressed in some way today and it was great to watch! Once Avi remembered he could use his hands in goal, he became an impenetrable fortress in goal and the boys on field were stringing fantastic phases of play together and reaped the reward of great commitment! Well done all!

Teams: Devansh, Avi, Seb, Olly, Alex

Player of the Match:

Devansh – Superb effort!

Report: A slightly uneven contest for this group of boys but the captain (Thomas) kept spirits high and they were all elated to have scored 1! Thomas summed it up with – ‘We fought hard against a better team and made sure we came away with something!’ and I am not sure as a teacher, you want to hear much else! A great team effort and all the boys kept smiling! Cracking work!

Player of the Match:

Thomas was so impressed with 2 of the boys he decided to give the MOM award to 2 people! Zayd and Findlay!

As a result, they came 3rd in their heat. They then managed to beat Ryde in the playoff game 1-0, finishing 5 out of 12 teams. Well done boys.

Report: A game of hard work and commitment. The boys have been working incredibly hard in training and its starting to pay off. Putting into practice our work on man marking, the boys managed to keep Churches out of the net for most the game and our throw in practice paid off after Anghad launched the ball half way down the pitch which allowed Adam to virtually run it into the back of the net. Great effort all round!

Report: The boys showed nothing but heart today and worked incredibly hard for one another. The score didn’t go their way but Krish summed it up with ‘That was fun!’ and I was really proud of the boys today as they never gave up! Atharv maintained control at the back and Krish was throwing himself around everywhere desperately trying to get the ball in the back of the opposition net! Great effort all round! A special mention goes to Tameem as when he had the ball blasted into his face with some incredible force, he didn’t complain one bit and in fact worked even harder!

Team: Krish, Kirshnu, Tameem, Zac, Atharv, Yusef, Aydin, Harry

Player of the Match: Atharv
