Busy start to Year 6

It has been a tremendously busy start to the year. In Monday morning’s assembly, Mrs Hopson-Hill and Mr Bennet announced the exciting new positions of responsibility for the Year 6 children. The eagerly awaited news, was met with great excitement, as they rapidly unwrapped their new badges.  All the children now hold a post within the school and have their badges to indicate their roles. In the classroom, they have been busy working on their new studies and developing their knowledge. Topics this term include; The Victorians, Animals (including humans), light and rivers.  On the sports field, the children have been working hard. By the time you read this, many of them will have represented the school, in their first netball and football matches of the term. Looking at the fixture list, there will be many more opportunities to come. A great start, and we are looking forward to much more to come.

Our Senior Prefects recently interviewed our new children to find out how what they think of Sherborne House School so far.  Read about their findings in the first Senior Prefect blog of the year.
