School Council Update

Members of the school Council recently addressed the while school about four local charities that they had identified as deserving a donation of £500 from The Friends of Sherborne House School.The charities identified  were:
Wessex Cancer Trust
A specialist team at the Centre offer emotional and physical care to people living with or affected by any type of cancer.
Smile Support & Care
We are a registered, regional charity providing much needed full and part-time support to families with disabled children and young adults up to and beyond the age of 25, across Hampshire and West Sussex.
Sophie’s Choice
Sophie’s Place is a purpose-designed area of Northbrook Children’s Ward for treating children for routine treatment, tests, referrals from GPs and more. Sophie’s Appeal helped fund the decor, flooring, wall murals and furnishings enabling the hospital to concentrate on providing modern, efficient medical equipment.
Naomi House
Naomi House & Jacksplace hospices provide expert hospice care to more than 340 life-limited and life-threatened children, young people and their extended families from Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire, West Sussex, Surrey and the Isle of Wight.
Following the assembly, each class from year 2-year 6, was asked by the School Council representative to vote for the charity that they wanted to support. The school council then collated the results of each class vote. The results were:

The School Council would therefor like to ask the Friends of Sherborne House School to donate £500 to Naomi House.
